More comfort in video conferencing – camera settings are retained

With the latest firmware update for the Snom V420, using the camera becomes even more convenient and efficient. Particularly useful: the camera can now store additional image settings directly on the device. This means that individually selected settings remain saved even after disconnecting, reconnecting, or restarting the camera.

In addition to already stored image parameters such as saturation and contrast, further settings can now be permanently retained:

Zoom setting – the zoom value set via the slider in the Snom Connect app remains saved
Image positioning – the alignment adjusted using the directional buttons is preserved
Less manual readjustment – users no longer need to reset their preferred camera view after each connection
Greater consistency in meetings – the camera starts directly with the desired framing
