The Snom D892M is a next-generation desk phone that continues the success story of the proven D8xx series. It combines cutting-edge communication technology with thoughtful design and outstanding ergonomics – developed for demanding work environments where reliability and flexibility matter.

Thanks to its integrated DECT receiver, the D892M offers wireless mobility with a range of up to 50 metres, without compromising on audio quality. Ten SmartLabel keys with LED backlighting enable flexible, intuitive operation and quick access to frequently used functions. The 40° tiltable colour LCD display impresses with brilliant visuals and optimal readability – even under changing lighting conditions.

With built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, hearing aid compatibility, and support for modern IT infrastructures, the D892M is perfectly tailored to the needs of professional users. Whether in open-plan offices, reception areas or home offices – the D892M combines user-friendliness with innovative wireless technology, ensuring efficient and comfortable communication at the highest level.

Technical features

 

On-screen smart labels

This device has, instead of a second display for the display of the freely programmable function keys (e.g. BLF), a display of the same in the main display in Smart Label format.

 

Bluetooth

This device has Bluetooth headset support.

 

Expansion module connectable

To have additional speed dial or BLF keys available on your desk phone, this device can be supplemented with expansion modules.

 

Gigabit Ethernet

This device has a Gigabit network input and an output (switch) for connecting a computer.

 

HD audio

This device supports with its hardware and the supported codecs, the highest audio quality.

 

Headset connectable

This device has a port and possible software support that allows a headset to be connected.

 

IPv6 & IPv4

This device supports both Internet Protocol version 4 (IPv4) and IPv6.

 

Light sensor

This device has a sensor that measures the light in the environment. Based on this, the display brightness and thus the power consumption can be regulated.

 

OpenVPN

This desk phone can be upgraded to an OpenVPN client with an additional firmware upgrade to connect it to an OpenVPN server.

 

Power over Ethernet (PoE)

This device can receive its power from a connected network cable, provided that the network switch used supports this and has enough power to supply all connected devices.

 

Plug & Play

This device comes with Plug & Play. This means you can use accessories connected via USB without rebooting the phone.

 

Security (TLS & SRTP)

This device supports all common security protocols, such as TLS, SIPS, SRTP, etc.

 

Telephone directory

This device has an integrated phone book.

 

USB port

This device has at least one USB port.

 

WLAN

The device has integrated WLAN.

The corded headsets from Snom are equipped with extra long cables for maximum freedom and offer with their ergonomic design for fatigue-free wearing comfort in daily use.

Snom's cordless headsets use DECT wireless technology, which allows you to work comfortably and with both hands free in and around the workplace.

Make it your phone

Snom desk phones can be highly customised. In addition to being able to customise the phone's user interface (UI), most models can also be physically customised.

  • UI personalisation - software customisation
    For all Snom desk phones with a colour display, screen backgrounds, title and selection bars, and menu structures can be customised in terms of content and colour. In addition, all devices can use individual ringtones.
     
  • Corporate branding - changing the hardware
    Some phones of the Snom D7xx series can be printed with your own logo. In addition, you can receive almost all devices with individual key labelling and also order any plastic part (housing, handset, telephone cable) in an individual colour.
