IP telephony specialist Snom Technology has appointed Fabio Albanini as UK Head of Sales. Already General Manager of Snom Technology Italy and Head of Sales South Europe, Albanini will be working closely with the existing UK team to communicate new products and the launch of Snom’s bolstered partner programme as the business looks to fast-track regional growth.
Snom has been serving the UK telecommunications market for over a decade, developing successful partnerships with international organisations including Trust Distribution Ltd., Xelion and Vtel.
Albanini said: ‘‘The UK has always been a very important market for us and I’m looking forward to working alongside UK Distribution Director Alison Tetlow and Channel Director Brett Kershaw, supporting our customers with technical pre and post-sales support.’’

Snom launched its new and improved partner programme earlier this year, which offers partners real financial and joint marketing incentives.
The company is now planning the roll-out of several new features, including access to regular updates on sales and technical topics. New partners and distributors will also have the opportunity to take part in free training courses and receive certification.
