snom Expands US Channel Partner Program

snom Technology AG, a leading developer and manufacturer of Voice-over-IP (VoIP) phones, announced the launch of a new expanded training and certification program for Value Added Resellers (VARs) in North America.  The company will be introducing the initiative – the snom Certified Engineer program (SCE) this week at the IT EXPO conference and show in Miami, Florida.

The SCE program is designed to train and certify prospective snom reseller partners such as telephony VARs, data VARs, IT service providers and IT consultants on best practices for deploying snom’s suite of VoIP phones with one of the company’s rapidly expanding portfolio of hosted VoIP and IP PBX technology partners. snom will be holding a series of intensive training seminars in major US cities on a quarterly basis throughout the year.

“The new SCE program is designed to give technology resellers a thorough hands-on understanding of snom products and general VoIP (Voice over IP) technologies,” said Mike Storella. “VARs attending the training program will develop critical skills for implementing VoIP in real world enterprise and SMB environments using snom SIP phones in conjunction with one of our VoIP technology partners.”

Due to rising demand for snom’s products in the SMB and enterprise telephony, snom’s channel network continues to rapidly expand throughout North America and South America.  Its sales and marketing operations for US and Canada are headquartered in Boston, MA but the company has opened several satellite sales offices to support its distributor and reseller partners including a location in South Florida to serve the Southern US, South America and CALA regions and an office in Northern California to support the western region of the US.
