“snom Hacker Shootout” to showcase VoIP security specialists

on Wednesday, March 5^th at 3:00 pm at snom’s booth, Hall 13, Booth D26.

snom will present its new "snom Hacker shootout" program, which will bring together security partners, VoIP Communities and experts within the industry.

Audio encryption (SRTP) and secure transport layer signalling (TLS) is growing in demand for internal company phone calls.  Tools to record RTP audio data within a company network are generally available and becoming increasingly simple to use, and VPN based telephony with employees who work from their homes is no longer an unaffordable expense.

Every year, new VoIP vulnerabilities are discovered and remedied.  These vulnerabilities should be fixed quickly and the public informed appropriately.
