snom's VoIP telephones successful in QSC test

Following extensive tests in the laboratory of the Cologne telecommunications provider QSC, the VoIP telephones snom 190 and snom 360 of the Berlin company snom technology have been authorized for use in the private and business environment.

In detailed tests, QSC examined the compatibility between the snom appliances and the QSC softswitch platform. "For our authorization, in addition to the operability and stability of the telephones, what counted was a high level of flexibility and adaptability in terms of software updates or a changed situation of the customer. The professionalism of the support given by the telephone provider is equally important", states Christian Roth, system engineer at QSC. The tested snom telephones authorized for use in the private and business customer environment can be ordered by QSC IP telephony customers under www.qsc-shop.de.

Dr. Christian Stredicke, founder and director of snom, is also happy with the results of the tests: "It is our mutual goal to attune and guarantee an optimal interoperability in the future, particularly ahead of new software versions". snom is planning similar tests with other VoIP service providers worldwide.
