snom technology AG will introduce the snom 320 - a secure, SIP-based VoIP business telephone with built-in conference bridging - at Chicago’s SUPERCOMM show.

Ideal for general office and knowledge-worker environments, the snom 320 features built-in, full-duplex speakerphone and conference bridging for three-way calls.

On-phone bridging maximizes audio quality by minimizing round-trip latency, and reduces bandwidth consumption by 33%. Distributed bridging also reduces need for centralized signal processing horsepower on IP PBXs and  host communications servers - lowering total cost of ownership, improving VoIP system scaleability, and enabling use of more compact and affordable VoIP premise equipment.

The snom 320 also features a 2 x 24 semi-graphic LCD display, 12 programmable keys, a 100-number call memory and onboard address book, custom call blocking, downloadable ring-tones and other sophisticated features. The phone can be configured and dialed via its keypad or through a web GUI loaded to an associated PC by the 320’s built-in web server.
