Voipfone was founded in 2004 to develop VoIP based, hosted telephone services and is now a leading provider in the UK offering a wide range of sophisticated products to both small business and residential customers.

Consequently we have built a very robust network which is housed in Europe’s largest data centre in London’s Docklands. We use enterprise scale equipment (from Cisco, HP and Juniper) with full failover and redundancy and peer directly with all major UK connectivity providers (BT, Virgin, Level 3, Telia etc) and two failover Tier1 call termination providers. Our up time during 2007, 2008 and 2009 as measured independently by Monitor Us, was 99.99%.
Unlike almost all other providers, we also engineer our own products so that we can create unique features, add new services quickly and constantly improve our existing ones.
All our services are no contract and 'a la carte.' Customers choose what they need from a web based, real-time menu. Our online Package Builder enables customers to build exactly the services they want and to add and remove services as and when they need to without being stuck inside a long-term, inflexible contract.
We have a very wide range of services and features including UK and International telephone numbers, Voicemail to email, two way fax, call recording, call divert and music on hold, web calls and click to call services. Plus a full featured, hosted PBX.
In 2009 we have been judged to be the best VoIP provider for UK Small businesses by ITSPA, the Internet Telephone Services Providers Association.
