snoms interoperability program wants to give you as a customer the possibility to find out which components work with each other. The solutions vary from simple PBX systems up to carrier grade IP-Centrex solutions. To assure the interoperability between snom phones and the solution, it has to undergo several interoperability tests in our labs.
snom has two achievable Interop levels:
The basic interop level concentrates on basic call functionality. It is important that the interop system handles SIP according to the standard.
The functionality includes the following cases:
- Call Origination
- Call Termination (calls are terminated correctly)
- Call failure handling
- Hold - Unhold a call
- DTMF functionality
The advanced interop level is targeted on PBX functionality. Advanced features as transfer, Music on Hold, etc. are required to work, to get this certification level. With a partner gaining this level you can be assured that the following tested functionality works smoothly.
Additional to the basic interop tests the following functions undergo a testing:
- VoiceMail integration
- attended/unattended transfer
- Music on Hold
- Busy lamp field
