With the clara NetPhonie voice services, Claranet offers professional IP phone services exclusively for business customers. Depending on customer requirements, both outgoing and incoming national and international calls (voice and fax) can be conducted through the IP connection of the relevant customer location with normal quality.

To ensure high transmission quality for data and voice simultaneously, it is essential for the access line at the customer’s location to have adequate bandwidth. clara NetPhonie makes integrated voice communication via an IP infrastructure available. These powerful services are robust and very economical. Claranet makes use of the required broadband Internet access through technologies such as ADSL, ADSL2+, SDSL, and Leased Line. Claranet’s Voice-over-IP services (VoIP) can help business significantly reduce telecommunication costs. The reason for this is the savings in expensive telecommunication systems with long-term cost-intensive maintenance contracts, the elimination of conventional connection fees (S0 / S2M), the generally low-cost minute rate, and free calls within a company network (VPN).

clara NetPhonie Hosted PBX makes it possible to do without conventional telecommunication systems, thus realising significant cost advantages. clara NetPhonie Hosted PBX is also designed to serve several locations in parallel. This allows for performance features such as accepting calls beyond locations. In addition to networking several locations together and free calls, an additional feature is the transparent and seamless integration of home workplaces.

New locations, branch offices and work stations can be set up easily and flexibly. Adding physical ports and separate wiring for extensions are a thing of the past. All that is needed is an additional snom terminal device for each workstation. Different snom VoIP phones can be selected depending on requirements, making it possible to choose the optimum functionality and convenience in terms of quality, security, reliability, and features. With Claranet’s automatic pre-configuration of snom VoIP phones, setting up new workstations is easy and flexible.

A client programme makes it simple to use the most important telecommunication features such as the phone book, voicemail, rerouting and ignore lists as well as monitoring of specific group subscribers – locally or in multiple locations.

Previous phone numbers can be kept or replaced by new ones when using clara NetPhonie Hosted PBX and/or new ones can be added. Additional services such as Fax2Mail, Mail2Fax, and Hosted Exchange round out the offer.

As a full managed service, clara NetPhonie Hosted PBX is always up-to-date – and without extra time and money. Relevant additions and updates can be loaded at regular intervals in the Claranet datacentre.
