SIP-Forum
As a member of the SIP Forum snom and the other SIP experts are actively promoting and adapting SIP-based products and services. The SIP Forum's purpose is to inform about the uses and performance of SIP, to report on successful applications and developments, and to announce activities and successes concerning SIP interoperability.
UPnP
In keeping with its goal to make VoIP as user-friendly as possible, snom is supporting Universal Plug and Play technology and demonstrating its expertise as a member of the Universal Plug and Play Forum - an initiative formed for the purpose of enabling a simple and stable connection between individual components and PCs made by diverse manufacturers. The members of the UPnP Forum include leading industrial enterprises from the areas of consumer electronics, computing, home automation, home security, appliances, printing, photography, computer networking, and mobile products.
I3P Lucent-Partner
snom has been a member of Lucent's "Internet protocol (IP) Interoperability and Innovations (I3P) Partner Program" since 2003. Under this umbrella are gathered companies like Acme Packet, aTelo, Avaya, Grandstream, inGate, ipDialog, Level 3 Networks, and Pactolus, whose products are compatible with the Lucent EXS® Converged Services Platform (CSP).
