snom 360 4.0 license configuration

You only require a few short steps to update your snom 360 to firmware version 4.0:

• Press “?” on your snom 360,
• Note the MAC address 00041323xxxx (where xxxx represents the last four alpha-numerics),
• Go to the license generator, generate your license key,
• You will receive an email with the license key attached as a zip file,
• Extract the license key from the zip file to your local hard disk,
• Go to “Software Update” via the telephone web interface,
• At FW, enter http://www.snom.com/download/share/snom360-4.0-SIP-j.bin and press “load”.

Upon successful update:

• Go to “Software Update” via the telephone web interface.

You should now see 12 lines as in the image below, including the upload field for the license key “Manual License Upload”.

 

 

• Select the locally saved license key file and press “load”

After “load”, the license key field will no longer be visible! Your telephone is now equipped with the license-protected 4.0 Firmware!

 

Upgrading to the new improved memory management:

• Go to “Software Update” via the telephone web interface,
• At FW, enter http://www.snom.com/download/share/snom360-3.31-r.bin and press “load”.
