snom Teams-up with Epygi Technologies to Deliver VoIP to Small and Medium Size Businesses
snom technology AG, a leading developer and manufacturer of advanced Voice over IP phones for enterprise and residential markets, announced today integration of its SIP-based phone portfolio with IP PBX and gateway manufacturer Epygi Technologies Ltd. After rigorous testing and evaluation, snom’s 3xx series VoIP phones and new snom m3 IP DECT mobile phone received full certification by Epygi Technologies as interoperable and deployable with its Quadro 6L IP Key System.
“Since its launch earlier this year, Epygi’s Quadro 6L has generated significant momentum in the marketplace as SMBs recognize the advantages of its blended featured set of advanced VoIP features with traditional Key System features,” said Michael Knieling, executive vice president of marketing and sales for snom. “Achieving full certification and integration with Epygi Quadro 6L highlights the strategic advantages of snom’s VoIP handsets - their programmable features, ease of interoperability and reliability – make them the ideal endpoint partner for Epygi’s Quadro 6L.”
Launched in February, Epygi Technologies’ Quadro 6L is a IP Key System appliance for small and medium businesses (SMBs) transitioning to IP telephony who require both advanced IP PBX and Key System features in their telephony system. Epygi designed the Quadro 6L for environments that require multiple ringing phones and shared trunk appearance visibility.
snom’s 3xx series (snom 300, 320, 360 and 370) are the industry’s premier, business-class, open, standards-based SIP VoIP phones and feature a global executive design and styling with a large high-resolution display screen, programmable function keys and advanced business calling features. The snom m3 IP DECT is the company’s first cordless offering and provides an optimal VoIP communications system for the home office, SMB or enterprise. The new mobile VoIP phone features an elegant design and advanced mobility without compromising audio quality. Since the company’s inception in 1996, snom has been a leading proponent of open standards and is interoperable with the broadest array of IP telephony platforms. snom phones offer the most comprehensive VoIP security including support for TLS and SRTP protocols and VPN capabilities. The SIP telephones can support several audio devices simultaneously, such as the handset, headset and hands-free and POE.
