DEXGATE is a new technology made up of a software platform designed for the simultaneous, unified management of both synchronous (telephone and video calls, chat, etc.) and asynchronous (fax, Sms, email,etc.) communications through a single soft switch, a single database and a single browser bar. This technology offers all of the standard IP-PBX functions and the most advanced CTI interface for all communication management using any standard browser. Communications are activated and managed independently through the IP phone (all SNOM products) or PC Client keyboard using solely a standard BROWSER that allows for interaction between the PC Client and the Server where Dexgate application and the database are located. Based on the display of one or more HTML pages, the system provides for nearly unlimited hardware scalability and avoids conflicts with the operating systems of the various PC Client as NO SOFTWARE IS INSTALLED ON THE PC CLIENT. All the required software and the database are hosted on the server. Communications (connection, transmission, call transfers, joint and conference calls, recording, etc.) are managed through interaction with the browser-server and therefore all the classical risks of blocking the PC Client as a result of problems with other client-server architectures are completely avoided. Apart from rendering the “WEB PBX” fully reliable, this feature allows users to access the DEXGATE platform from within the LAN as well as from outside, via intranet or internet connection through XDSL.
